1| Check out some art.
This Saturday we got a chance to catch up on what was going on in the a few of the art galleries in Charlotte. It felt like it had been ages since I’d been in an art gallery, so the moment we step into the first art gallery it was so exhilarating.
We started off at the Hidell Brooks Gallery… They were in the process of hanging the art for their latest installation, but were happy to let me snap a few pictures. I really like the openness of this gallery, and they are open till 3pm on Saturdays, so definitely stop by if you’re in the Charlotte area.
…then we moved onto the Lark & Key which was just up the street…
…and wrapped up at the Shain Gallery.
We wanted to go the art showing they had on Friday night, but by the end of last week we were exhausted…
2| Check out a delicious restaurant whether it’s somewhere you’ve been before, or if you’re in the mood for something new.
We’ve been thinking a lot about Italy lately. Mostly about how we dream of going to Tuscany to take in the culture and take some cooking classes to learn how to cook the Italian way. So, it only made sense that we head over to Luciano’s Ristorante Italiano. Their Capellini Bolognese is absolutely epic, plus we love the chance to have the place to ourselves.
3| Pick up some fresh flowers.
Why fresh flowers? Because what day isn’t made better by some fresh cut flowers? We stopped by Atherton Mill’s first…
… and then headed over to Whole Foods.
