A day in Davidson | w/ theavidpen

On Saturday we decided to take a little drive up to Davidson. It takes us less than an hour to get there, and since we first starting making the trip up to their Saturday Farmer’s Markets back in 2013 it has become a home away from home.

This Saturday we weren’t going for the Farmer’s Market, instead we were on a art/lunch mission. We procured our first piece of bird art by Mullanium from Wooden Stone Gallery back in December of 2014, and our second in December of this year. So, it was time to pick out our next bird.

Meet Alex, who will be officially ours in December of 2016. From the moment we saw him, we knew no other bird would do.

What we really like about the Wooden Stone Gallery is we can make payments on our bird art throughout the year and then come December we have a nice piece of art for Christmas.

Onto lunch!

We found ourselves a nice window seat at the Flatiron on Main St. for a bite of lunch...
