Hope everyone is having a safe and relaxing Memorial Day weekend. I’ve been up to quite a few things this weekend.
1| On Saturday I headed up to Davidson, North Carolina to check out the farmers market there. It’s our favorite farmers market in the area, and it appears that everyone had the same idea that morning. You can check out the post about our foodie’s day out on my food blog here.
2| I finally had the chance to sit down and write the a chapter for my 3rd spy novel (Rouge) that I started writing earlier this year. Having the opportunity to knock out 2K + words is a rare thing these days. What can I say… Life.
3| While we were sitting on the deck the other night I was enjoying my Passion Tango Tea from Starbucks and a hummingbird flew right up to the table. Time to put out the hummingbird feeder again.
4| We checked out a few movies from the Redbox. Big Eyes (the new Tim Burton film) wasn’t exactly what I would call a happy film… but at least it ended on a satisfying note. It’s based on the true story of artist Margaret Keane. It stars Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz.
5| I finished the final episode of Kdrama Falling in love with Soon-Jung. It was an epic and satisfying ending to a show that literally had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.
Happy Memorial Day!
