An Artsy Saturday Around Town | Arts & Culture

This Saturday we were in the mood for some art, because when aren’t we honestly. Since we’d received news that new paintings by Trip Park were on their way to the Shain Gallery, that was our main destination of the day.

Park’s most recently collection is all about Turtles in all different sizes and colors. While the paintings weren’t up on the walls yet, I went around the gallery snapping photos here and there. I just love all the colors and the personalities of the turtles Trip Park has painted, and I think you will too.

After taking in the art we made a stop off at the Paper Source and then it was time to head over to the Dean & Deluca Wine Room. We decided to eat in the actual Wine Room instead of the main part of the market because it was quieter and much cooler. (After a week of more mild temperates, especially in the morning hours, the weather in our area has gotten increasingly warmer.)

I went with the Arugula Salad with Salmon, Goat Cheese, Pear and Raspberry Vinaigrette.

Mum went with a delicious sandwich and a side of pasta salad.

We made a quick stop in Whole Foods for some fresh pasta and a few other foodie items, before making our mandatory Starbucks stop. If you’ve never been to the Starbucks on Park Rd. you really have to. Their Mango Black Tea is seriously top shelf!
