Annie @ Blumenthal | Arts & Entertainment

We’ve had our Annie tickets for months, and finally this Saturday it was time to go see the Tony Award-Winning Production.

First even of the evening, dinner @ Morton’s Steakhouse. I haven’t been there for dinner since I was in elementary school, although we did pop by on a food tour we did a few years ago.

We were seated upstairs, which I quite prefer as you get a view of the entire restaurant.

Once we arrived at the Belk Theater, we pre-ordered our beverages for intermission and mum took a picture of me behind the Annie cutout.

It was hard to say who was my favorite character in this particular production. The actresses who portrayed both Annie and Miss Hannigan were absolutely amazing.

We weren’t allowed to take any pictures during the play, but I found a few on the web.

It's a hard knock life!

It was an absolutely amazing experience, and we picked up a copy of the musical soundtrack which included bonus tracks from the original play in 1972.
