Welcome to the 5th edition of Avid Inspiration. I decided to use the picture of the cedar bird’s nest that came with the chocolate egg we picked up from The Table Farmhouse Bakery for this post. Why? Because I think it kind of shows that there is always room for a little inspiration!
Delicious Shots | Shortbread Cookies – these are simple shortbread cookies and they look absolutely delicious. Love. Love. Love!
Cupcakes & Cashmere | Instagram Insights & Brooklyn Chocolate Cake – had to pick two. It’s Instagram, a photo app I love and chocolate by the creative genius (Emily Schuman) behind Cupcakes & Cashmere. What’s not to like?
How Sweet It Is | Spring Pasta with Blistered Tomatoes & Eggs – It’s colorful, looks delicious and has tomatoes, pasta and plenty of herbs. Sounds like the perfect way to use some of the herbs from my spring garden!
The Forest Feast | Apricot Bites – this is a delicious, easy appetizer created by Erin Gleeson. She is my favorite vegetarian blogger whose first cookbook came out recently. Both her photographs and her watercolors never fail to inspire.
Joy the Baker | Lemon Pound Cake with Lemon Poppy Seed Buttercream – another yummy cake recipe from Joy the Baker. I love lemon poppy seed muffins, so I’m sure I’ll enjoy this recipe.
A Cup of Jo | NYC Tips & Etiquette – Joanna Goddard gives a few glimpses at the book NYC Tips & Etiquette by Nathan W. Pyle.
HiP Paris Blog | The Sweet Life: Japanese Pastry Chefs are making waves in Paris – I literally want to reach through my computer screen and grab one of these delicious looking treats.
Sense & Sensibility | Spring: Earth Laughs in Flowers – beautiful pictures of flowers are always a way to show spring has finally arrived.
Hope you were inspired!
