Bagels, Anyone? | Sur la Table

On Sunday we popped up to Huntersville, North Carolina to take a class all about making bagels from scratch from Chef Lane Kurylo @ Sur la Table. (Dawn Sileter of Simply France with Dawn was our class helper for the day.) While I’ll be sharing the recipes and many more photos on my foodie blog (coming Thursday!) here’s a little preview for my readers on theavidpen.

First we mixed up our dough using the dough hook attachment.

After forming our bagels, we placed them in boiling water (with honey) for 1 minute per side.

Next we brushed our bagels with an egg wash and chose our toppings. This is black truffle salt.
