This is one of my favorite photography apps on my iPhone at the moment. The possibilities for your photos are endless…
Sometimes I take photos in the app itself (the focus is amazing) and sometimes I add select photos from my photo library to my VSCO Cam library.
As you will see below I recently did a little ‘peach’ study with a luscious peach I picked up at a local market.
Once you’ve highlighted the photo you like in your library, you can click on the wrench and paint brush to edit… but first we need some filters.
Here are a few examples of the filters offered through the app. No fear of purchasing your filters more than once, after you’ve made your purchase it will be marked ‘purchased.’
You can see examples of photos using each of the filters offered with each selection to give you an idea what your finished photo will look like.
Need some inspiration? You can see what some well known iPhone photographers have put together by clicking the discover option. (see screen shot 2 for the menu)
Now let’s edit! I warn you the more filters you add the harder it will be to choose.
(Note: The picture used the example below is a photo of mine that I’d already edited in VSCO Cam)
So, now you’ve gotten your photo the way you want it… it’s time to share it with both yourself and others…
If you haven’t already saved it to your camera roll, I suggest you do this first then share it with whatever Social Media sites you wish to.
Or even email it to a friend and help spread the word about VSCO Cam.
I hope you will check out VSCO Cam and will fall in love with it just as I have. It’s ever iPhone photographers best friend…
