The Needlework finisher has quite a collection of the Kisses designed by Barbara Bergsten and these are the latest pieces she has stitched and finished.

Putting it all together.

I have finished several of the Barbara Bergsten kisses for shops throughout the years. And have finished several for myself now. Her newest ones are Sand, Sea and Surf and I have all of them. My Sand kiss is the first one I have finished. I stitched this one all in Splendor and the turtles are done in Sundance beads. On the white part under the Sea and turtles I ended up using 2 strands of white and 2 strands of tan (S984) to make it look like sand, after getting a wonderful suggestion. In finishing it, I topped it off with sheer organza ribbons, rick rack, raffia and a real sand dollar. I think this is my favorite one so far!

This was my first time using Hotfix Crystals and I’m really pleased with the way it turned out and how it accented the starfish.

I stitched the seashells with Size 15 Seed Beads in Dark and Light Pink to give them a wonderfully detailed look. Thanks Needlepoint.com for all your help with picking out these beads!
