Clara’s Trip | Arts & Entertainment

I’ve enjoyed the tale of The Nutcracker ever since I was a little girl, and every year I look forward to the performances of the holiday classic. So, I was very excited to hear about Clara’s Trip which will be playing at the Booth Playhouse in Charlotte.

Clara LeBlanc trips at a holiday party and is whisked off to the hospital to learn that her ankle is broken. Clara’s dreams swirl and take flight with silly nurses, her friends and get-well gifts. The sky’s the limit for the CC&Co. dancers as they soar through the winter air on silks, trapeze and much more with the addition of graceful, athletic contemporary dancing.

Watch as Calouche and her dancers turn the classic tale of The Nutcracker into a funny, feel good performance filled with excitement that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This unique take on everyone’s favorite Christmas classic, The Nutcracker, makes for the perfect family event of the holiday season.

If you’re looking for a show that will enthrall the senses, this is definitely a show you want to check out. The first performance is Friday, December 9th at 7:30pm. There are two performances on Saturday, December 10th at 2pm/7pm with the final performance on Sunday, December 11th at 2pm. This is not a show you want to miss!

Tickets start run from $25-40 and can be purchased online or by phone. (704-372-1000)

I haven’t heard of this one. We have tickets to go see The Nutcracker at Blumenthal the evening of 12/22. I have the boys outfits all planned out. 😉
