Up until now VSCO is the only app I’ve really liked the photo filters, but now I’ve added another option to edit my photos… ColorStory. This blog created by the bloggers behind A Beautiful Mess. It’s very easy to use and I’ll walk you through the steps in this post.

First select a photo from your camera roll.

After you’ve selected your photo, you can crop, flip or resize it here. Once you’re done just click Continue.

Now it’s time to pick your filters and/or effects.

You can purchase the filter packs in-app individually, or for a limited time you can get all filters and effects for $7.99. If you’re an avid photographer, I’d definitely go for this option while you can.

Since I wanted the white petals and to really pop, I went with the Punch filter.

Click the check mark, and then Save & Finish.
Click Save & Finish, or go back to Editing if you’ve changed your mind.

Now head over to the App Store on your iPhone and purchase this amazing app! You’ll be glad you did.

    I hadn’t heard about this app yet – maybe I should give it a try… At the moment I use VSCO for my instagram photos 🙂
