Dark Chocolate Chia Pudding | Food

We recently decided to try our hand at making Chia Pudding for the first time. Since Chocolate is always a good idea, and Dark Chocolate is good for you too… we decided why not make some Dark Chocolate Chia Pudding.

After a quick run to Fresh Market to pick up our Vanilla Almond Milk and Chia Seeds we headed back home to create our pudding.

Dark Chocolate Chia Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups Vanilla Almond Milk
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup dark cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

Whisk chia seeds and dark chocolate powder in a bowl. Once fully mixed, add cinnamon and salt. Pour in 1/2 cups of Vanilla Almond Milk while continuing to whisk.

Pour chia mixture into jars and refrigerate either overnight or for 3-5 hours.

Once chia mixture has come to a pudding like consistency, top with fresh raspberries and whip cream.

Note: When using dark chocolate powder it’s going to be a bit strong, so I’d suggest mixing the pudding with raspberry jam before you put your chia pudding in the refrigerator.
