From Southpark to Providence

March 22nd, 2014

Wow. It feels like such a long time ago, I can barely remember it… and I have great long term memory. Of course it could be that I spent nearly an entire working day running errands, but I’ll get to that at another time.

It was a foodie kind of a day, from start to finish. First up, Zoe’s Kitchen‘s latest Charlotte location which is just across the street from the Southpark Mall.

2nd on our to-do list. Head over to Whole Foods just up Fairview Rd. a little and pick up some Goat Mozzarella I’d been looking forward to since I ran out of it about a month ago and something to put us in the mind for spring.

Moving on to Morrison Blvd. and the 3rd location on our ‘list’ Williams and Sonoma… or Willmies as I like to call it.

As you can see they had tablescapes, curds, Easter items and goodies galore. Plus, if you catch this foodie’s haven on a Sunday @ 2 you can enjoy one of their free culinary technique classes.

Now onto Providence Rd. where we decided to stop in the newly renovated Harris Teeter which was literally taken up a notch. It’s two stories now, complete with stairs and elevator… oh, and Starbucks which we were sorely in need of before we headed to our last stop.

It’s literally twice the store it used to be.

Finally… our last stop is our favorite Italian market, Pasta and Provisions. They have fresh pasta, cheeses, proscuitto, and even fully created meals that only have to be heated up or popped into a pot of boiling water. So, what’s not to like?

Until next time…
