I completely blame my recent trip to Charleston for making me into one of those people who orders special shampoos. First, if London’s on the label, I’m sold. Second, I’m not one of those girls who goes for those shampoos which smells so strong they’re enough to give you a headache every time you use them. Third, since I wash my hair daily I want something that’s going to smell nice, I can stand to use daily and doesn’t leave my hair in a worse state than it was before I washed it.
I tried this shampoo for the first time at the Charleston Place Hotel and I absolutely adore it. It smells fresh and clean, plus it’s made with a formula rich in anti-oxidants as well as being paraben free.
In my most recent order I decided to give this shampoo a try. It’s supposed to be gentle and highly recommended for daily use. Plus it has a refreshing lemon verbena scent and contains a honey extract to help moisturize your hair. So, if you live in a dry climate, or tend to have dry hair in general, then this is definitely a shampoo to try out.
For the same price as one of their shampoos, you can order a Shower Gel Sampler or a Body Lotion Sampler. I decided to go with the Shower Gel, because my current body wash has long outstayed its welcome.
Check out what’s included in this sampler below, and I’ll also tell you which ones passed the smell test.
So far I think I’m most excited about the Spa Therapy Body Wash with stimulating sea wrack and the Mineral Bath with Sea Kelp. They just smell like a spa day and I didn’t even have to leave the house to enjoy it. The Bee Kind will be the obvious choice to go with when using the Bee Kind Shampoo if you want to go with the same fragrance.
Another fun thing about Gilchrist & Soames is if you have a collection you are absolutely in love with and can’t travel without, they offer their complete collections in travel gift sets. Yes, please!
