With the arrival of spring and daylight savings time, I find myself spending more time in the kitchen with mum in the evenings. Even after a long day, it’s nice to make dinner together and have the chance to use some of the culinary skills we’ve picked up from our cooking classes.
Since cooking is even more enjoyable if you have an enjoyable beverage to drink while you’re cooking (or baking) I thought I’d share this easy recipe for Virgin Pear Thyme Mimosas. We use sprigs of fresh lemon thyme from our herb garden and if pear juice isn’t to your taste, you can always sub it for peach or mango. (I’ve tried both and trust me it’s every bit as delicious!)
Virgin Pear Thyme Mimosas
- 1 bottle Club Soda
- 1 bottle Looza Pear Juice
- Sprigs of Lemon Thyme for Garnish
- Add ice cubes to glasses.
- Pour 3 ounces of juice over ice.
- Fill rest of glass with Club Soda.
- Top with Lemon Thyme.
