Kdrama Lately | All the Latest In Dramas

I like to do a round up of Kdrama’s that I’ve watched and those I’m currently watching, and this includes Korean Drama’s in a variety of genres from Crime to Medical along with a Supernatural Drama that I’m quite excited about. If Kdrama’s are something you currently enjoy or something you’re thinking of getting into, this is definitely a list of dramas you’ll want to check out.

Falsify

Falsify

This drama has already wrapped up, making it the perfect one to binge watch (even if you might find yourself a bit flustered at times about whether the ‘bad guys’ will get what they deserve.)

Reporters Han Moo-Young (Namgung Min) and Lee Seok-Min (Yu Jun-Sang) and Prosecutor Kwon So-Ra (Uhm Ji-Won) are the good guys in this drama, and they are working against an organization that is behind every major organization including the very well known newspaper that Lee Seok-Min works for. For Han Moo-Young it all starts as a revenge mission as he tries to find out both why his brother (a reporter) was killed and how to bring the organization that seems to have their hands in every illegal activity he uncovers to justice.

Hospital Ship via DramaFever

Hospital Ship

This one is near the end, and I’m enjoying every minute of it. The drama centers around doctors who work on a Hospital Ship that goes to the remote islands around the Korean Peninsula bring aid. The storylines are well developed for this drama, so you actually feel a connection to each of the characters on board the Hospital Ship. It stars Ha Ji-Won (The Time We Were Not In Love, Secret Garden) as surgeon Song Eun-Jae and Kang Min-Hyuk (The Heirs) as a general physician. Two other doctors whose fields are in Dentistry and Oriental Medicine join the others on board to serve out their military service on abroad the hospital ship. During the course of the drama we learn about the characters past and how it’s shaped them into the physicians they are today.

While You Were Sleeping

While You Were Sleeping

After W, I could not be more excited to see Lee Jong-Suk in a drama (especially with his military service coming up soon). This drama pairs him with Suzy Bae who plays a young woman whose dreams always end up becoming reality. After he saves her from a situation that would have dramatically influenced the course of her life, he works together with her to stop her dreams from becoming real. After three episodes I’m already rooting for the main couple, and can’t wait to see how their chemistry unfolds on screen.

Revolutionary Love

Revolutionary Love

Baek Joon (Kang So-Ra) lives in the same area. She works part-time jobs to make ends meet. Baek Joon graduated from a good university, but she was unable to land a job at a company and begin taking part-time jobs. She is positive and full of justice, but her life changes when Byun Hyuk appears. – AsianWiki

This drama is a supernatural drama, and I like to add them to my Kdrama list from time to time (especially after how much I LOVED Goblin.) Song Seung-Heon stars as a detective who just happens to be possessed by the Grim Reaper and Go Ara who can see Shadows of Death. The two work together to save the lives which breaks the rules of heaven. It’s my first drama that I’ve seen Seung-Heon in and he previously starred in Saindang, Light’s Diary and my third drama starring Go Ara who previously stared in Hwarang and You’re All Surrounded.

Here’s hoping that one of the 2 apps I have will get the license to this one!

The Package

The Package

A mysterious man (Yoon Park) seems to follow Yoon So-So. Jung Yeon-Sung (Ryu Seung-Soo) joined the package tour with a partner, but he will not reveal what kind of relationship they are in.
