Let’s Relax | Kiawah Day 2

Our 2nd day at The Sanctuary on Kiawah was our day to just relax. Every trip should have a day where you just enjoy the hotel and it’s amenities along with the room etc.

We started our day off at the Jasmine Porch, one of several eateries located in the hotel.

While there many items on the menu… we decided to go with the buffet which would allow us to come up with our own combinations.

We started off with some fresh squeezed orange juice (which was amazing) before heading up to the buffet.

After breakfast we walked out to the pools and down the walk to the beach…

After walking around a bit, we headed back to the hotel and headed off the Freshfield’s shopping area that’s just up the way from the hotel. We had fun trying outfits at a few of the shops, and checking out this bedding shop that we would love to ‘live’ in. One more quick stop at the only nearby Starbucks and then it was back to the hotel for a spa treatments.

We made reservations for dinner at Jasmine Porch as we didn’t want to leave the hotel again for the evening. Since our spa treatments wrapped up a little early we arrived at the restaurant shortly before our reservations and were able to get the much coveted outside seating.
