Lunch at Vapiano | Charlotte

It’s always nice to introduce a new restaurant to friends and family. We’d been to Vapiano, a Italian Eatery in Charlotte’s 3rd Ward during a food tour a few years back. At that time we sampled some of their delicious desserts, but this time we were looking to enjoy some of their entrees.

Gather around the tree if you’re visiting with a large group.
Olive Oils and Vinegars to top your food with.
They make their own pasta fresh in house.

Here’s a bit about how things work at Vapiano. When you walk in through the front door, you’re handed a card. This card will get scanned at the station you go to after finally deciding what you’re going to order.

Next take your pager to your table and wait for it to signal that your order is ready to pick up at the counter. Since you don’t pay till the end (with said card in tow) you can feel free to go back and order more entrees throughout your meal.

Ashley and Mike also split an order of the delicious bruschetta.
Mum went with one of the specials… Pasta Crema Di Avocado
While I was initially planning to go with a pasta dish, I ended up deciding on the Turkey Club Panini.
If you want the Bruschetta kicked up a notch… go with the Bruschetta Duo.

I’m looking forward to trying Vapiano again in the future, and would definitely recommend it to all foodies looking to explore the Charlotte Food Scene.
