Marimekko + Clinique

Marimekko + Clinique

When I first saw the email from Clinique pop into my inbox about their collaboration with Finnish Design House, Marimekko, it’s hard to say which drew my attention first, the fun designs of their lip glosses and lipsticks, or the fact that they had added hydration. One of many woes for any beauty lover during the Fall and Winter months is dry skin and especially dry lips.

Up until I first discovered Clinique’s lip glosses I’d always had issues with dry cracked lips which is even more noticeable for those of us with fuller lips. Out of all the products that I’ve tried from Clinique the Pop Lacquers that they came up with a few years ago have been my constant go to. (Just a few days without them and I can already notice a difference in my lips.)

Rosewater Pop (12)

While I tend to go with rose nudes which go with pretty much every outfit, I always like to pick a brighter color to add into the rotation during the spring/summer months. This Rosewater Pop gives an extra touch of pink to your look, and I just love the fun packaging of all the Clinique Pop Splashes (Lip Gloss + Hydration) that Marmekko created for their collaboration with Clinique.

Sorbet Pop (03)

Both the Sorbet Pop and Tenderheart Pop are similar in color. Hold the bottles side by side and they pretty much match up with one exception. The Sorbet Pop has a bit of shimmer added into the mix and it’s the perfect choice when you want to add a touch of fun/flirty to your lipgloss game.

Tenderheart (08)

Out of all the lip glosses and lip lacquers that I’ve tried from Clinique these are some of my favorite. They feel like heaven on your lips and you can mark dry lips off your list of beauty worries for the drier Fall and Winter months.

If you’re even considering trying out a few shades of Clinique’s Pop Splash Lip Glosses by Marimekko I would go for it as they’ll be available for a limited time.
