Old Edwards Inn/Highlands Mini-break| Day 3

October 7th, 2014

Now for our third and final day in the Highlands… Since a storm came through the night before, we opted to eat our breakfast indoors instead of out on the balcony.

Since  check out wasn’t until noon we decided to just enjoy the room a little more before packing it up and heading out.

We explored a few shops after we loaded up the car… I really loved these clockwork birds at the Acorns across the street from the inn.

After circling around and around the area, we finally snagged ourselves a parking space and walked to our lunch destination, Wild Thyme. Don’t you just love the name?

We opted to sit outside as the inside was already quite full, and the outdoor seating allowed us to get some fresh air and enjoy the heaters.

We made a quick run in at Potpourri.  I just loved the way they displayed their jewelry.

Time to go home now…

Looks like a great destination! Have you picked where you’re going next year yet? 🙂 That restaurant name reminds me of a rustic sign I have at home that says “Never enough thyme.”
