Paris, Style, and Paris | Coffee Table Books

One of the features I love about my room that has remained during the revamping of my bedroom from a writers studio back into a bedroom, is my bookcase. I like to think of it as a secret/hidden bookcase as you don’t actually see it until you are into the room.

As my tastes in books and interests have expanded over the last several years, I’ve been doing a bit of revamping to my book collection as well.

I have been following the author and photographer behind this first book on Instagram for quite awhile now, so when Georgianna Lane (@georginannalane) released her book Paris in Bloom I immediately knew that I wanted to have this book as a part of my library. (It also makes an excellent coffee table book if you don’t have a bookcase.)

The New Paris by Lindsey Tramuta (@lostncheeseland) is a recent follow of mine on Instagram, but the book itself has been waiting on my wishlist for ages. Paris, has long been a city that I dream about seeing one day, so while it’s currently beyond my reach I love to read and hear others experiences of the City of Light.

Fashion has become more and more important to me as I’ve gone from my twenties into my thirties and I’ve come into my own sense of style and knowing what I do/don’t like when it comes to my wardrobe. I picked up this book by Dallas Shaw (@Dallas Shaw) after one of my fellow bloggers Mara from M Loves M recommended it. From the layout to the fashion tips included in this book I’m absolutely in love with it and would recommend it to any budding fashionista out there.

What are some books that you have added to your collection lately? Feel free to leave me a comment below.
