Perfect Fall Day

Cool breezes, leaves ablaze with color, good food and breathtaking art work equal out the perfect recipe for a fall day.

The weekend before last (yes I’m playing catch up… so behind here) my mum and I decided to go out and seize the beautiful fall temperatures. So we headed over to Selwyn Ave. to go to three of our favorite places.

First order of the day food… Enter Nolen’s Kitchen

We decided to eat outside…
We looked over the menu even though we knew what we wanted….
Cobb salad sans blue cheese and basil creamy dressing topped off with a salmon fillet

Next we headed next door to the Shain Gallery where we enjoyed works by William Jameson, Craig Mooney and Donald Peeler.

Gorgeous detailed oil paintings… so realistic…
This flower pops on the red wall… perfect setting…
Amazing…
Fall scene by William Jameson

Then onto Reid’s Market where we picked up some fig jam a few other yummies…

Reid’s Market on Selwyn Ave.

It was the perfect fall day…
