Sea Glass Locket | DIY

When my sister went to Kauai for her honeymoon, she picked up this sea glass on the beach. Upon her return, she asked if I could make it into necklace for her. I’ve held onto the sea glass for quite a while before I finally found the perfect way to display it.

To create this necklace for yourself you’ll need.

  • 1 Glass Locket (you can find these at Hobby Lobby or Michaels)
  • Sea Glass (you can purchase sea glass on Etsy here.)
  • Gold chain
  • 2 Jump Rings
  • Lobster clasp
  • Rosary pliers
  • Wire cutters

What I liked about this locket was the magnetic clasp, no worries about it staying shut and keeping my sisters memento from her Hawaiian honeymoon safe.

It was a process deciding what pieces to use, and being careful not to put to many pieces in the locket. Remember more often than not, less is more.
