So two days before Christmas (yes it’s been ages since then…) we decided to head up for a spa experience (and my sisters first ever pedicure) at the Ballantyne Resort. Up until that point my mum and I had gone to afternoon tea twice (first time awesome, second time a little underwhelming) and to breakfast once.
Since any spa goer has access to the full facilities on their spa day, we decided to get there early and start off with a little breakfast.
Just outside of ‘The Gallery,’ they were having a holiday exhibition of gingerbread houses to help benefit Levine Children’s Hospital. Although we didn’t vote, we couldn’t help but take some pictures of the amazing creations. The smell was delicious too!
Time to head off for our spa experience! First we were taken downstairs and shown to our locker room where we could change into our robes and shoes, then off to the relaxing/waiting area.
All in all it was a relaxing experience and a perfect way to spend what turned out to be a rather cold and rainy day.
