Sweet Pea Necklace

Around Valentines Day I always like to make a new piece of jewelry that is inspired by the holiday. Since I prefer pink to red, I kept that in mind when picking out the beads for this project.

What I loved about these two similar and yet still unique sets of Picasso beads in shades of pink and golden yellow was that no bead was exactly the same shade. As for wire and chain I went with gold because it brought out the golden shades in the beads the best.

I always make sure each of the links of chain in between my rosary looped beads are exactly the same length.

Getting there.

I just happened to have the small golden beads you see above in my box of beads, and thought, why not add them as a little delicate detail?

The finished product is both feminine and elegant.
