The avid bookshelf | Ebook edition

Books are piling up on my bookshelves this summer, and recently have downloaded a few ebooks as well. Normally I’m all about holding a physical book, being a writer I hope the printed word never goes out of style! However, sometimes when you want a book right away (think lunch break at work) then downloading is sometimes the best option.

So here’s three books I’m excited to get into.

1 | Insurgent by Veronica Roth

Reading this book became necessary after watching Divergent. I really enjoyed the film, and had to know what was going to happen next. What can I say… Curiosity!

2 | The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

The Fault In Our Stars | John Green

My thoughts are stars I can’t fathom into constellations.

This book has come highly recommended and I saw the movie for the first time this week. (I know, you’re supposed to read the book first, but I often read them after.) It was a very emotional movie to watch, and you couldn’t help but be moved to tears. The strength the characters have in the face of their illness is truly inspiring. Can’t wait to get started on reading this one.

3| Goodnight, June by Sarah Jio

My mom has been recommending Sarah’s books for years. She has all of them on audiobook to listen to while she works and when I saw the email from Books-a-Million this morning, I knew I had to download it. Fingers crossed that I’ve just found myself another author to follow.

Happy Reading!
