The Fearrington | Day 1

December 20th, 2015

While we always plan out our trips in advance, this year we decided to do an spur of the moment trip to The Fearrington in Pittsboro, North Carolina (30 minutes from Raleigh.) We’ve often talked about doing a destination Christmas, so this has to be closest we’ve ever gotten.

We started off our day @ the North Hill’s shops.

Lunch was our first stop, and despite all the choices surrounding us, we’d already made up our minds before we even set off on our trip. Italian was what we wanted, so off to Mia Francesca we wanted.

After lunch we looked around for awhile…

We were so happy to hear that we’d been upgraded, and would be staying in the room where we stayed my first time at The Fearrington. (This will be my second time this year, and I went for the first time in November 2014.)

Settled in the room.

After our luggage was all settled in our room, we went out for a little exploring before tea time.

Around 4pm we headed over to The Fearrington House Restaurant for tea time which runs daily from 4-5 for inn guests.

After tea we walked around a bit, to see if we could take some more pictures of the Fearrington in all it’s Christmas finery.

We went up to the front office to check out a movie for the evening and then got tucked up in the bed to rest at the end of a long day.

... of course we played a few rounds of Domino's before completely turning in for the evening.
