One year ago today I introduced my mum (aka The Needlepoint Finisher) to Pinterest. In the beginning her goal was to have 100 followers by the end of 2014, however within one month she’d already reached 50 followers so we changed our goal to 1K followers by the end of 2014. We couldn’t have been more surprised to see that not only did she meet her goal, but she doubled it. 2K followers and growing.
In June of this year The Needlework Finisher arrived on Facebook. On this page The Needlework Finisher has been able the share blog articles about her work, her latest finishing projects both for shops and her personal needlepoint projects as well. The goal of 200 likes by the end of the year is just within reach. 24 more to go!
Last but not least we have Instagram… Where one picture can tell a story… The Needlework Finisher share both her past and present needlepoint pieces she’s finished for shops. The goal for the year, like Facebook was 200 and in the case the goal was exceeded. We love Instagram!
Now for a word from The Needlepoint Finisher, “I have really enjoyed sharing on social media in the past year. I feel that by showing my work, it has both inspired and motivated me to become a better finisher.”
If you haven’t yet followed The Needlework Finisher here are the links where you can find her.
