This weekend I decided to put on a movie and make some new jewelry pieces. I had taken a bit of a jewelry making break since my Etsy shop hasn’t been getting much traffic, but I finally got inspired to get out my tools and make some new fun pieces.
The earrings I will share below are part of a new section on my jewelry shop called the Costume Collection. They are fun pieces that will make a statement but not put a strain on your wallet.
Now for some necklaces. I had these mother of pearl shell pendants for awhile, but I’ve been waiting until I had just the right beads and chain to do them justice.
I love how the gold, champagne, and faceted beads really bring this necklace to life. This is a longer necklace and perfect for getting the boho-chic look I love so much.
This sterling silver magnolia blossom was a hard one to pick out beads for. There were so many color options to choose from, but in the end I knew it had to be shades of blue. What can I say I’m already thinking about my late March trip to Hilton Head. It’s been way too long since I’ve seen the ocean, although I will always prefer the Pacific to the Atlantic.
The Turquoise facetted beads and this flower mother of pearl pendant were made for each other. I absolutely love picking out Picasso beads from my Etsy seller out of California. This is a mid length necklace and perfect to wear with your favorite sundress or maxi. I can hardly wait till I can remove all signs of winter from my closet and bring out my spring/summer clothes. So over this cold weather already!
