Winter Wonderland Tea

On Saturday my sister joined us for afternoon tea. The weather has been unseasonably warm, if you can believe it, it was nearly 80 degrees on the Friday before our tea. Thankfully the day of our tea turned out to be much cooler, so we could be more in the mood for a Winter Wonderland Tea.

While I went with my standard chamomile which helps make the tea a more relaxing experience, I plan on giving the Decaf Earl Grey and the Apricot Jam Tea a try.
Complimentary Sparkling Cider.
Although I’m not a fan of rye bread, I preferred the cucumber hummus sandwiches, while my sister enjoyed the roasted vegetables sandwiches.
Chamomile tea… yes, please.

In addition to speciality teas which are featured throughout the year, the Ballantyne offers Afternoon Tea every Wednesday – Saturday from 1-5pm. They do offer dairy free and gluten free options upon request, so be sure to let them know when you call to make your reservations.
