This was by far the easiest gift guide to put together. This year I’ve had to the opportunity to interview quite a few amazing authors and illustrators so all of the book suggestions on this list are authors I’ve had the chance to chat with.
Queen of Hearts by Kimmery Martin // If you’re a fan of Grey’s Anatomy then you’re love this debut novel from Charlotte based author Kimmery Martin. To read more about the book before you buy, check out my interview with Kimmery here.
A Clearing in the Forest by Kim Love Stump // For the fantasy lover, this book is geared for young adults, but can be enjoyed regardless of age. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book! Check out the interview here.
The Lost Vintage by Ann Mah // For the francophile and history lover, this book was one of my favorite novels in the fiction category this year. It also makes the perfect companion for your next vacation! Check out the interview with Ann here.
Paris in Stride by Sarah Moroz & Jessie Kanelos Weiner // Check out my interview with illustrator Jessie Kanelos Weiner here.
Le Cinema Français by Anne Keenan Higgins // This is the second book written and illustrated by Anne Kennan Higgins and it makes the perfect gift for the french film buff (or novice.) The book shares 40 best French films ranging from the 1950’s to the present. Check out my interview with Anne Kennan Higgins here.
