While charcuterie can be enjoyed on any day, we look forward to creating delicious charcuterie boards on Sunday afternoons. It’s one of the most delicious and relaxing ways to draw your weekend to a close. Plus Saturdays are ideal for running errands and picking up the last remaining items to bring your charcuterie board to life (while dropping in at your favorite art gallery to view the latest exhibition, visiting a nursery for fresh flowers, and perhaps a quick pop-in to grab some delicious desserts at your favorite French bakery.)
We finally had the chance to stop in the Park Rd. location of Babe & Butcher over the weekend. For those of you native to the Charlotte area, you’ll already know about the Camp North End location of Babe & Butcher. While we never make it out to that particular part of Charlotte, we often find ourselves in the Park Rd area (which is centrally located near the Myers Park and South Park neighborhoods).
Located just down from Michaels in the Park Rd shops, you can stop in a create the perfect little charcuterie box, whether you’re just enjoying it yourself, sharing between two, or want to pick up a large box for entertaining friends. We opted for a smaller box this time around, picking up two of their made-in-house chevre (Blackberry Balsamic and Strawberry) which were so delicious. Our olives, dried apricots, and one of the cracker options also came from the charcuterie shop.
