Breezy layers are my go-to especially during the summer months. I styled this particular look with the cooler temperatures we were expecting during our mountain getaway. Most days started off quite cool, which means an added layer was essential, but as the hours passed and the temperatures warmed up, I found myself rolling up my sleeves as I walked around the neighborhood, enjoying some much needed fresh air.
For this look, I paired by Grayson ‘Florence’ shirt in White Tumbled Linen with one of the tank dresses that I found on Amazon a few months back. I’m so glad that I snapped up these cozy knit dresses in two shades of blue before they sold out, because when it comes to comfort I love a knit dress. Not to mention the price point couldn’t have been better.

I recently had the opportunity to receive one of the ‘Hero’ shirts by Grayson (thanks to the Sarah Flint Brand Ambassador program I’m a part of) and it’s my new go-to summer shirt. One of the things I love the most about the Grayson brand is the shirts are engineered by women for women.

There were so many places to walk around near the VRBO we were staying at in Boone, North Carolina. I paired the look with the Grear Sandals from Sarah Flint. I find myself reaching for them whenever we’re heading out of town. They are comfortable for the driving in (the ties don’t hamper your driving abilities like many laced sandals do) and they are comfortable for walking around whatever location you’re visiting without having to worry about rubbing any blisters on your feet. (I know I talk about this a lot, but as someone who has had way to many blisters from shoes I’ve owned both in the past and present, it’s nice to give your feet a break.)
I loved finding all of the dahlias in the Hounds Ear neighborhood we were in. It was quite a hike walking up the street to find these, but it’s worth it to see one of my favorite flowers up close.
