Ever since we visited Charleston, SC a few years ago I’ve been looking for the opportunity to check Caviar & Bananas, so I was BEYOND excited when I read that they’d opened up a location in Greenville, South Carolina.
During our Fall trip we spent quite a lot of time in Greenville at different restaurants and eateries around the city and Caviar & Bananas was our first stop. (Twice on our first day to be exact.) It has the vibe of one of my favorite eateries here in Charlotte which was my first attraction to the place and I was definitely impressed. The location was ideally located and I also had the chance to snap one of my favorite pictures of the entire trip just before checking out with all the goodies that I’d picked out.
I always like to try out Turkey Burgers when they’re on the menu, and I went with one of my favorite breads for sandwiches, Ciabatta. Add some spinach and tomato and you have yourself a winner.
My mom had a sandwich called ‘The Usual’ which I can’t believe I don’t have a picture of! It comes with Roasted Turkey, Brie, Arugula, Shaved Red Onion, Apricot-Rosemary Marmalade on Toasted Multigrain Bread. (She left off the onions.) The sandwich was so good that it was exactly what she ordered each time we stopped in during our trip. When you like something, you just go with it.
