Who is ready for spring? With the arrival of one of my favorite seasons arriving later this month (I’ve never been ready for spring flowers so much in my life) this will probably be one of my last wintery looks until the season rolls back around at the end of the year. I previously shared a WFH look featuring this sweater, cuffed jeans and ballet flats, but since we’ve been back in the office for over a month now after being closed for a few weeks, I figured why not put together a feminine meets professional look to wear into the office.
Although this sweater is currently sold out, I’ve linked a few similar sweaters at various price points. It is one of my favorite sweaters and with the pointelle design and crew cut neckline you can either skip a necklace all together, or pair the look with your favorite locket.
When it comes to dress pants, I always turn to Ann Taylor. The fit is always perfect and there is no need to run off to the tailor and have your pants hemmed every time you get a new pair which is a frequent occurrence for those of us who fall under the petite category. When I find a pant that I really like I tend to by it in more than one color, and I’ve already shown look recently where I shared these pants in black.
Now for the shoes… The Heel from Margaux is the obvious choice for me. It gives the perfect bit of height without sacrificing comfort or style and these are literally the only pair of pumps that I wear on a constant rotation with dresses, jeans and dress pants making them the best purchase I’ve made this year so far. Plus, you can get 10% off your order from Margaux with my personal BA code: AVIDPEN10
To finish off my look and add a little ‘Je ne sais quoi,’ I added a beret which is my favorite hat to wear through the fall and winter seasons, and having a beret (or two or three) in your personal collection is always a good idea.
