If you love citrus, then you’re going to absolutely love this post. Not only will we be making two citrus spritzers, I’m also going to share about two seriously delicious summery candies from Sugarfina.
For those of you not in the know about Sugarfina, it’s a California passed Boutique Candy Company and they recently celebrated their 5 year anniversary. I discovered them several years back, and I absolutely love every one of the candies that I’ve tried so far.
These Pink Flamingo gummies have been on my must try list ever since they first appeared on the scene, and this post was the perfect excuse to get them. They are grapefruit flavored and are made in Germany.
My second candy choice, Parisian Pineapple has also been on the ‘must try list’ and I thought it really worked well for the summer look I was going for with this post. They are made with natural fruit juices and I couldn’t get over the fact that they are even cuter in person.
Now for the Citrus Spritzers… When we are at Whole Foods we picked up two of their Italian Sodas (Clementine and Grapefruit). If you’ve never had one of these delicious sodas, then you really do have to try them. They have lemon and pomegranate which I’ve also tried before as well.
Since I wanted to have ‘pretty ice cubes’ I used one of the ice trays from Sur la Table that we picked up last year after one of of their culinary classes.
This set up also allowed us to use mum’s Mudpie candy dish and flamingo napkins that we picked up a one of our local boutiques, Crossings on Main.
- Grapefruit or Nectarine Italian Soda (from Whole Foods)
- Lime Perrier
- Wedge of Lime (optional)
Add ice cubes to glass. Fill glass about 3/4 full with Italian soda of your choice. Top with lime perrier. Enjoy!
