If you are sensing a cozy theme throughout my wardrobe this season, you’d be right and this cable-knit dress from Amazon is the absolute coziest warmest dress that is currently in my closet. Plus it’s just under $40 making it an extremely budget friendly find that will be your go-to whether you’re headed into the office or doing a bit of Christmas shopping/errands.
The dress is available in camel (above), pale blue, pink, black and winter white and comes in size small through XXL. (I’m wearing a size small here for reference.)
For an added layer of warmth (although I found that I didn’t really need one!) I popped on my favorite wool coat that I’ve worn throughout the fall/winter seasons for the past few years and my new pair of over-the-knee boots. I know many style magazines have said that over-the-knee boots are on their way out in favor of knee high boots, but these boots are some of the most comfortable ones that I have and perfect for a walk around the lake.
Turtleneck Sweater Dress (Amazon, similar here and here) // Wool Coat (old, similar here and here) // Black Over the Knee Boots // Red Beret (Topshop, color no longer available, similar here) // Mika Cat-Eye Sunglasses (Anthropologie)
Inspired by my love of all things French (and since I was feeling a bit of a Emily in Paris vibe when putting together my look) I decided to pull out my red beret that I found at Topshop last year (this color is no longer available but I found one exactly like it at the perfect price point!) I also decided why not go bold and go with a red lip thanks to my new favorite lip shade Rome Rouge from trèStiQue. I participated in an Instagram campaign with the brand a few months back and have ordered a few more colors including two of their most popular colors (Florence Fig / English Rose) and I love that they don’t add any synthetic fragrances to their products along with being clean, cruelty-free, paraben-free, d5-free.
The final accessories for my look were of course my favorite Spartina 449 locket, a pair of delicate pearl earrings and my go-to pair of sunnies from Anthropologie… and voila!
