Going to afternoon tea has always been one of my favorite childhood memories. Whether it was tea parties at home, or the tea of a lifetime at the Empress in Victoria, Canada, I’ve been in love with the tradition from my very first tea sandwich.
On Good Friday, we headed over to the Ballantyne Hotel for their Easter Tea and we very excited to see what sort of Easter themed treats they would have for us.
Don’t you just love this arrangement of florals. If I had room I would have all sorts of unique vases. Someday maybe…
For the easter tea we were treated to different china then we’ve used before. Very springy. We perused the menu for our choice of tea, but I already had my heart set on the Egyptian Chamomile. Mum went with the Paris Blend.
Had to snap a picture of this hat worn by one of the ladies enjoying tea at the table behind us.
The Ballantyne Hotel has themed teas throughout the year in addition to the weekly afternoon tea time, and we are already counting down to their Mad Hatter Tea coming this October.
