Just one week till my birthday and I’ll be 3-. No still can’t say it, because I can’t even believe the number that is coming up more quickly than I’d like. Last weekend we picked sunflowers and apples, and this weekend we’re running errands and picking up some of the food for my little birthday soiree next weekend. My sister, brother-in-law and little niece Cecileia will be joining us to celebrate, but we’re keeping this small (honestly we would have anyway COVID or not). I look forward to sharing all about it on the blog soon, but in the meantime, check out this week’s edition of On the List.

“Abstract painting has always been my first love, but it has been a challenge as well. My paintings reflect a memory, music, poetry, friends, experiences, or simply color. When I try to capture a moment on canvas I strive to create a shared experience in color with the viewer. This is the ultimate form of connection between me and the viewer. Acquiring a piece of art should be an unforgettable experience.” Trudi Norris
