Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is spending time with their loved ones whether you’re gathering together in person or via FaceTime. I’ve been keeping myself busy during this time away from the office, between re-arranging my bookcases, catching up on some reading (which has been amazing after starting but never finishing so many books throughout the year) I’m definitely planning to keep up my reading momentum in 2022, by carving out time in the evenings, on lunch breaks and listening to an audiobook versus the radio on the way into the office in the mornings.
I’d planned on sharing two new food posts this week, but I’ve decided to make this weekend a food-filled weekend, so I hope that you’ll stay tuned for all of the delicious recipes that I hope to have coming your way next week.
On another front… Has anyone finished the second season of Emily in Paris? It just released on Wednesday while I was determined to spread out watching the series as much as possible, Netflix went and smart downloaded the whole season at once, which means I’ve nearly watched the entire series. If anyone has finished this season and wants to share their thoughts (on how it compared to the first) let me know in the comments below.
I’m sharing the lovely piece that I found on artist Alissa Morabito’s studio sale. There are still a few pieces available and you should definitely check them out.
I definitely would want to come over for this Christmas Eve/Christmas Day Dinner Menu.
I’m currently obsessed with parmesan (because it’s so delicious on pasta dishes, and b/c of the parmesan Goldfish crackers that I’m equally obsessed with) so this recipe for Parmesan Aracini is a must make.
I’m back to thinking about all things floral, and I found two floral dresses in different lengths from Ann Taylor, this Floral Belted Dress if you’re looking for something in a shade of blue and lavender and if you’re looking for something in wine or burgundy, I’m loving this Shimmer Midi Floral Dress.
I adore cinnamon (which shouldn’t be a surprise given my passion for chai and cinnamon raisin bagels) so these Cinnamon Muffins are definitely on my must-bake list.
Allure recently shared about their favorite facial rollers, and I have to say that my favorite is still the Defina from Vanity Planet. I use it throughout my day to release tension and keep my face looking toned.
This recipe for Baked Gruyere in Pastry with Rosemary and Garlic was too good not to share.
I picked up some delicious pears earlier this week, and this Spiced Pear Compote looks like the perfect way to enjoy them.
Loving how this Houndstooth Coat Cardigan dresses up a casual look.
This Baked Strawberries and Cream French Toast is a must for New Years’ morning!
Biossance just released a serum that you can use between your toner and moisturizers, and I quickly ordered it to try out. I plan on sharing my thoughts in January, so be sure to keep an eye out! Also, I highly recommend joining their ‘Clean Crew’ so you can build up points for future purchases and they are always sending out discount codes, so if your skincare routine is made up primarily of Biossance like mine is, it’s definitely worth it!
I’m definitely going to make a non-alcholic version of this Grapefruit Margarita.
