While the thought of spring allergies makes me want to run for the metaphorical hills, I have to say that I’m absolutely elated that we’re starting to get blooms and buds on the trees. Soon we’ll be having strawberry festivals and then it will begin the countdown to peach season! If you remember, I’ve mentioned that I pass our local peach orchards on my commute each day (they even have a small orchard across from the Starbucks that I drive through each morning.)
Today we’re off to the ANFA gallery to see their latest exhibition featuring the work of photographer Josef Hoflehner. It’s also the beginning of the countdown to the ballet that I’ve been looking forward to seeing for months now, Sleeping Beauty. We’re attending one of their matinee performances next weekend, and I’m looking forward to seeing the newest adaptation of the classic ballet.
One more thing… for those of you who have heard about the gift box company BoxFox, they have created a Marketplace where you can put together your own curated box. Here’s the link.
