Everyday, whether you’re on vacation or heading off to your work day, should start off with a good breakfast. While most of my non-vacation breakfasts are simple (toast or cereal) while on vacation I really love to enjoy everything that The Fearrington has to offer. There are a variety of delicious options on the menu, but I always tend to either go for something egg related, especially if it’s either Eggs Benedict or a Frittata. Because who doesn’t love a Frittata.
After breakfast we headed over to the North Carolina Museum of Art.
We stopped by a few shops after the museum, before heading back to the Fearrington for lunch @ The Goat.
Now over to McIntyre’s Books to have a look around.
Now… time for the Spa at Fearrington.
After our pedicures we relaxed a little while longer giving our toes time to dry before walking over to The Fearrington House Restaurant for afternoon tea.
There were several wedding taking place both on Friday & Saturday so there were lots of cheering and bridesmaids running around the village.
After tea we headed over the main desk to check out a few of the movies they had, and headed back up to the room after quite an eventful day…
Around 7:30 we ordered up some room service… and relaxed the rest of the evening away in the most comfy beds ever. I really need a mattress like that at home… and the same size bedroom would be beyond amazing… just saying!
