Seeing a Sally King Benedict exhibition is always the highlight of our year and after last years ‘Lanai’ exhibition at the Hidell Brooks, we were looking forward to the artist newest exhibition titled, ‘Storyboard.’ The exhibition, which opened on October 4th, was everything we were hoping for. The artists work filled the Hidell Brooks Gallery with light, color and left this lover of all things art in a state of absolute happiness.
For the shared love of storytelling through pictures. I wanted to create a larger than life experience inspired by the imagined narratives between mother and son. Creative Direction by River. – Sally King Benedict
Storyboard featured both mixed media on canvas as well as several works of mixed media on paper. Our favorite of the artist works on paper was without a doubt Fernbank Face 2019.
