This refreshing drink featuring San Pellegrino has been on my list of things to share for quite a while now, but coming down with COVID delayed it for a few weeks while I’ve been recovering.
This year we’ve had quite a bountiful herb garden, and since flowers that grow in from your herbs are edible, I’ve been looking for a way to enjoy our beautiful mint flowers. While there are so many ways you can zhuzh up your San Pellegrino just adding Meyer Lemon honey for a touch of sweetness, garnishing with mint flowers and a few mint leaves really makes the most refreshing little beverage to enjoy on a weekend afternoon.
I found this Meyer Lemon honey at our local Crate & Barrel, and I highly recommend it. It’s from a Brooklyn-based brand, and it really adds the right hint of citrus and sweetness without being too much.
Our mint flowers and mint leaves really defused well in the San Pellegrino, since the bubbles really release the flavor of the mint as you enjoy your beverage.
