My beauty and skincare finds for this month all come from Neutrogena. The company has been around since the 1930’s, and is represented by such well-known spokesmodels as Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Garner and Kerry Washington.
As someone who deals with dry skin (especially my hands, arms, etc.) I have been spent years try to find the right product with absolutely no fragrance. The Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream from Neutrogena comes in both Fragrance Free and Original and is available on your grocery / drugstore aisle at via the Neutrogena website.
A little goes a long way, but your hands will thank you for it. The body gel cream instantly quenches and leaves your skin feeling supple and hydrated. Everyone in my immediately family have switches over to this body gel cream and it benefits all skin regardless of age. So, no matter if you’re in your 30’s or your 80’s this is definitely a product you’ll want to try out!
Another product in the Hydro Boost line that I’ve become a fan of during the winter months is the Hydrating Lip Shine. Available in a variety of shades, this lip shine works well on it’s own or layered under your lip color of choice. While I don’t tend to stray from my favorite lip lacquers and glosses from Clinique, I started with my Invisalign treatments the end of October 18, and in my attempt to steer clear of any lip colors that would end up on my trays my lips really started to suffer. The Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine helped get things back on track. The only frustrating factor when it comes to this product is the applicator, but in the end, the benefits outweighed the frustration.
The last product I picked up a whim was the Force of Nature Eye Palette by Kerry Washington – Limited Edition. While I have my favorite shades covered, I didn’t have any neutrals. This palette has 5 available shades and you can keep things simple or go for a more dramatic look depending on the occasion. These eyeshadows are both blendable and buildable. As for me, I’ve been using the lightest shade when layering with more vibrant eyeshadows when I want to tone them down a bit and on their own when I want to go with a more natural look.
