Most of you already know about my obsession with the skincare products from Biossance. They are clean, cruelty-free, vegan, and of course synthetic fragrance-free. I’ve tried out several of the serums thanks to the samples that are included with my orders, and when they launched a Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum I ordered it the moment it was available. While I’m currently using the eye gel and eye cream along with gel moisturizer from Biossance, I haven’t yet added one of their serums to my regular routine.
The serum can be layered with the other serums from the brand and is meant to be followed by one of the moisturizers. Since I’m focusing on skincare and self-care more than ever this year, I’m also learning about which products provide the best results according to my specific issues. For example, I’m starting to notice my laugh lines and my 11 lines a lot more recently (thank you elevated stress levels), so having a product in my routine that will target these concerns was something I needed to consider.
If you suffer from dry skin, especially during the winter, having a nightly skincare routine is essential (and having a morning routine is also important if you’re not crunched for time), and having a product that will not only add hydration back into your skin (squalane) but also boost collagen production (copper peptides) will be one of the best things you can do for your skin. After all, as we age our skin produces less and less collagen, so it’s important to boost that collagen production and keep your skin looking its best.
To get the best results, it’s important to start with a cleansed face. Once I’ve used my cleanser, I follow with toner, eye gel(or) cream, a dropper full of the Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Pumping Serum that I tap into my skin, and then I follow up with gel moisturizer.
Note: While most of the serums from Biossance are meant to be layered, if the Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum is part of your regular routine, it’s suggested that you use the Rapid Plumping Serum in the morning and then use the night serum as your primary serum for your nightly routine.
