Yes, I’ve added another polka dot dress to my collection, and what I love about all of the polka dot dresses I’ve added to my wardrobe this year is they are all unique in their own ways. You’ll remember the first Amazon The Drop dress by @somewherelately I shared about over the summer, then there was the Ruffle Sleeved Dress from Ann Taylor and now I’ve found this Black and Tan Polka Dot Tiered Dress designed by @fashion_jackson for Amazon’s The Drop.
While this particular dress is not currently available (but I definitely recommend signing up to see if it comes back in stock!) I’ve found several similar options (Polka Dot Midi Dress via & Other Stories, Heartbeat Smoked Dress via Kate Spade, Shirred Waist V Neck Dress via ASOS.
Since it was an especially cold day when I shot these pictures my shawl is hiding the 3/4 sleeves on this midi dress, but I enjoy a 3/4 sleeve option and there are quite a few shoe option to pair with this particular dress due to the silhouette and length. I paired it with a knee high boot in faux suede (similar here and here) but I would also pair it with booties and tights, and these sweet bow flats that I picked up from a little boutique near my house (similar from Amazon). The bow flats would make this dress the perfect option for an intimate family gathering around the holidays. I’ll be wearing it with my bow flats the day after Christmas when my sister and niece come to visit for a belated Christmas celebration.
With the flowy silhouette of this dress, I went with a long necklace to draw the eye down, and my new locket from Brooks & York was the perfect addition to the look. There are several monogram options with this locket but I opted for a simple C in script which I feel is the most elegant option out of all of the choices.
