Looking for something fun to check out in Charlotte during the month of April? Well art openings are always a good idea. Plus did you know that the first Friday of every month there is an art gallery crawl in Charlotte’s South end? What better excuse to do you need to head out after work on a Friday than to check out some art and perhaps try one of the new eateries that have popped up in one of my favorite neighborhoods in CLT?
Also check out the Charlotte Ballet’s latest event coming for a limited time towards the end of the month. If you love ballet, then it’s definitely a show you’ll want to check out!

Need ideas of where to eat after the show? Luciano’s is always a good idea after a show at the Hidell Brook (if you’re craving Italian) as it’s just a few doors down from the gallery. For the Anne Neilson Fine Art Gallery there are several places to eat around the gallery, but we like to pop over to Bricktop’s which is also in the South Park area. When visiting the Shain, try out some of the new eateries that have opened in the Park Rd. Shopping Center. Amelie’s is definitely one to check out, and there’s also The Flour Shop that recently opened up. Heading uptown to check out the Charlotte Ballet at Knight’s Theater? Halcyon is right next door, or head across to the Park on the Green for a bite at Bernardin’s.
On this edition of ‘What to Do in Charlotte’ I’d like to share something new. For those of you who are interest in learning more about creating your own floral arrangements. The Charlotte Flower Market will be having three workshops this month.
