So it’s Friday, the last day of the work week and you’ve just gotten home. Perhaps you’re feeling a bit stressed, because things were especially busy in the office or life in general has gotten more than a little hectic. Either way, you’re looking for a way to relax. In today’s post I’m sharing about a few of my favorite ways to unwind, and with any luck you’ll find at least one that suit your lifestyle.
Indulge in some serious skincare
While I keep my skincare routine simple most of the time (cleanser and a serum) or (cleaner and a sheet mask) at the end of a long week I like to expand my routine from cleanser through to moisturizer. Over the years I’ve found some of my favorite brands that I like to use and that work for my sensitive skin, and you can check out a few of my favorites below.
Enjoy sometime outdoors, talk a walk
We’re luck enough to have a beautiful walking trail just down the street from where we live. There’s nothing nicer than getting some fresh air (when the weather it’s too hot) and getting to spend a little time in nature. I just bring my favorite music and tune out the rest of the world while I get those endorphins going.
Make a delicious recipe you’ve been waiting to try out
This summer we’ve added baking to our list of things we enjoy doing, and you’ll notice that I’ve started sharing recipes here on the blog again. Making a delicious meal or sweet treat is a wonderful way to brush up on your culinary skills and spend some time with those you love most.

Finally finish that book you started a month ago
I started a book called The Unbreakables by Lisa Barr about a month ago. I literally read half the book the day I downloaded it, but then things got busy and there is was just sitting on my iPad half read. So my goal is to finish the book before heading back into the office on Monday.

Watch that movie or series (INSERT FAVORITE APP HERE)
While I’m waiting for the next season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon, I’ve been rewatching some old favorites (Jane the Virgin & Galavant) and a bingeing a few shows that are new to me on Sundance.
