While I often share mocktails and salads throughout the summer months, this summer having charcuterie on Sunday afternoons/evenings has become a tradition. While you’ll see a few things that frequent most of our boards (from goat mozzarella, our favorite crackers selection and the Castelvetrano olives that I am OBSESSED with, we like to feature something new in each of our boards.
Speaking of frequent favorites, this is the second time we’ve featured Jamon Serrano Ham that I just found in my local Earthfare. Unlike prosciutto it has a different consistency and is ‘less chewy’ and easier to display on your boards. While I imagine it would be quite delicious featured in a pasta dish, on a salad or even in sandwich, I quite like giving our salami a little rest and letting the Jamon Serrano Ham have its moment to shine.
Since my grandfather original comes from Wisconsin and his father was a dairy farmer and worked at Stella Cheese Co. in Wisconsin. Knowing that I just had to try out the cheese spread by Di Bruno Bros. that is Wisconsin based.
So spreadable and flavorful too. It also gave me the chance to use one of my French cheese knives I found at Sur la Table.
Unbelievable sweet blueberries.
